|
Wizarding Express starter Todd Hines was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Phoenix Hotspur, 4-2. In 6.2 innings, Hines surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run. Ming-jiang Wu recorded the save for Wizarding, his 2nd of the season.
Wizarding took the lead in the top of the fifth when Rafael Arredondo stroked a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-1 in favor of Wizarding. For the day, Arredondo went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 2 walks.
"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Hines said.
The Express are now 51-26, while the Hotspur fall to 54-23.
