Express Continue Hot Streak with Extra-Inning Win

Wizarding and Chicago left the Gold Sox Field crowd in suspense until the final out.
The Chicago Gold Sox wasted an impressive 8.2-inning effort from starter Juan Júlio, falling 2-1 to the Wizarding Express at Gold Sox Field. Wizarding reliever Ming-jiang Wu was the winner. His record is now 3-0. The losing pitcher was Gordon Fry.
Steve Dunn had the most critical at-bat for Wizarding, coming in the top of the 14th inning with no one out and the bases empty. Dunn hit a 1-1 curveball from Gordon Fry for a solo home run. It put Wizarding in front, 2-1.
"We've hit a rough patch right now," said Chicago skipper Brett Reichert.
The Gold Sox, now 19-35, have lost 7 in a row.
