The Austin Rangers eeked out a 4-2 win versus the Grafton Middies at Field of the Middies. Nobody did more than pitcher John Wilkins, who captured player of the game honors. Júlio Rodríguez picked up the save, his 14th. Austin has 3 straight wins, Grafton 3 straight losses.

Austin grabbed control in the top of the seventh. With one out and a runner on 1st, Count Dante delivered a 2-run home run, to make it 4-2 in favor of the Rangers.

"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Austin skipper Jordan Calhoun. "I can't complain."
