The Austin Rangers went home winners at Platform 9 3/4, thanks in large part to starter Art Adams. Adams silenced the Wizarding Express, enabling Austin to grab the 5-1 win. Adams, now 4-3, was the winner. In 8.2 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 7, walking 1, and allowing 1 earned run. The Rangers own a robust 25-26 mark.

Also pitching in was Austin center fielder Count Dante, who hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third. For the game, Dante went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
