Yen Goes Wild, But Express Win
|
Wizarding withstood an impressive performance by Austin first baseman Yun Yen to defeat the Rangers, 4-3, at Platform 9 3/4. Yen was 4 for 4 with 2 home runs and 2 doubles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The Express now have a record of 33-16 with the win over Austin.
Wizarding took a 4-3 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning, when Nathan Tanner hit a clutch solo home run to bring Express fans to their feet.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Tanner told the Wizarding Citizen.
