Wizarding played host to Chicago at the friendly confines of Platform 9 3/4.
The Wizarding Express topped the Chicago Gold Sox, 7-4, in Silver League action at Platform 9 3/4. The player of the game was Wizarding pitcher and Vancouver, Canada native Todd Hines. Jackson Haines was called on to finish, recording his 10th save.
António Martínez broke a 2-2 tie in the bottom of the seventh with a run-scoring walk. It put the Express in front, 3-2. For the game, Martínez drew 2 walks in 4 trips to the plate.
"That's the key at this level, throwing strike one," said Hines. "Successful pitchers do it."
The 'W' lifts Wizarding's record to 23-12.
