Middies Walk Off with 9-5 Win
The home squad pulled out a thrilling walk-off win at Field of the Middies today.

Grafton designated hitter Pedro Orozco played a vital role in his team's 9-5 triumph over New Amsterdam. He was 2-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for Grafton. The Grafton Middies, now 2-6, have not found much traction so far in 2025.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With one out, Orozco hit a fastball from Juan Sánchez for a grand slam home run. The Middies, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"We need to get rid of the bad mojo," said Orozco. "Maybe this win will help."
