Cattlemen Get Past Austin for 5-4 Win
Bart Lewis helped his team muscle past the Austin Rangers, 5-4. In the game, the Ft. Worth first baseman was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Ft. Worth reliever Francisco López was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Decheng Sun. Jason Horne recorded the save for Ft. Worth, his 1st of the season.

The outcome might have been different had it not been for Lewis. In the bottom of the eighth inning, when the Cattlemen were trailing 3-2, Lewis delivered a two-out 3-run home run for Ft. Worth, giving his team the lead.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Lewis.

With the loss, Austin falls to 1-2.
