Titans Win at Grafton, 4-3
|
Toledo Titans starter Francis McBride was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Grafton Middies, 4-3. Brandeis Vogt, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save. The loss lowers the record for Grafton to 1-2.
The Titans got a big at-bat from Kade Knowles. For the game, Knowles was 1 for 2 with 2 walks. In the top of the fifth, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 1st hit of the season gave Toledo a 4-3 lead.
"We've got a great group of guys," Knowles said, "and we're having fun right now."
