Rangers Edge Past Detroit, 4-3

The home team gave the Rangers Stadium fans plenty to cheer about, with a thrilling walk-off win.
Detroit pitcher Ryan Bentley gave the Rangers all they could handle, but in the end, Austin left Rangers Stadium with a 4-3 win. Bentley allowed 2 earned runs on 6 hits over 8 innings. Decheng Sun got credit for the win, improving to 4-3. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings.
The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Austin trailing 3-2, Carlos Kramer hit a fastball from Lyle Lanley to right-center for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Rangers had a walk-off win.
"The effort we put into this one paid off," Kramer said.
Austin has now won 4 in a row.
