Eddie Kop never let the Austin Rangers find their groove. Throughout the game, Kop, who is tied for 2nd in the SL in strikeouts with 139, relied on his bread and butter, his forkball, in pitching the Titans to a win. Kop, now 13-7, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 5, walking 3, and allowing no earned runs. Toledo is now 48-54, Austin 51-51.

Though it wasn't a flawless game -- none is -- the fans who filled the stands at Pacesetter Park seemed to enjoy watching the Silver League action.

"There's still time to turn this season around," said Kop.
