SL Top Player, 2024 Choice Is Henry Wednesday, October 30th, 2024 The manager of the Oakland Oaks said he thinks Todd Henry is only going to get better as he gets older. He may only be 25, but it will be hard to top the first baseman's 2024 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Silver League Outstanding Hitter Award. His winning campaign featured a .340 batting average and a .411 on-base percentage this year. In 103 games he piled up 137 hits, 17 doubles, 2 triples, 28 home runs, 86 RBIs and 74 runs scored. David Smith of the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC finished second in voting, while Mike Gardner of the D.C. Divided finished third. |
