Brooks Scoops up SL Top Hurler Award Tuesday, October 29th, 2024 The Outstanding Pitcher Award for 2024 has been presented and the Silver League winner is Leslie Brooks of D.C.. "It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Brooks. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Divided star told reporters. Brooks excelled with an impressive 12-4 record in 22 starts. In 157 innings he yielded 147 hits and 45 walks, while striking out 148 and compiling a fine 2.98 ERA. Wes Hamm of the Phoenix Hotspur finished second in voting, while Yoriyoshi Yamamoto of the D.C. Divided finished third. |
