Another Setback For Oakland's Matt Webber Saturday, September 28th, 2024 Oakland Oaks starting pitcher Matt Webber informed reporters that he will be missing additional time because of a setback in his recovery from an oblique strain. "It's a bit frustrating, sure," Webber admitted. "I want to be out on the field. At the same time, I don't want to make things worse and miss even more time because I'm pushing it too hard." Oaks doctors told BNN Webber would not return for 2-3 weeks. In 22 starts this season Webber has rung up a 9-7 record and a 3.48 ERA. |
