Rocky Mountain's Costa Diagnosis Revealed Monday, June 12th, 2023 Cipriano Costa will have to wait a while longer. The Rocky Mountain starting pitcher was informed this afternoon that he will miss another 4-5 months with a sore shoulder. The injury has kept him off the field since 06/10/2023. Though Costa had hoped to return soon, he has no choice but to be patient. "Gotta stay focused," he said. "Gotta stay positive." So far this year Costa has made 6 starts, tossed 37 innings, struck out 27 batters and walked 16. His record is 2-2 with a 3.16 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .246 batting average. |
