Sears Wins 3L 2023 Outstanding Hitter Award Wednesday, November 1st, 2023 What a way to finish off the year -- being honored with the 2023 Outstanding Hitter Award in the Third League. It had already been a very special season for D.C.'s Ray Sears, but today's announcement really put the icing on his cake. All season long Ray Sears gave opposing pitchers fits by hitting .331 as he collected 140 hits, 22 doubles, 1 triple, 28 home runs and 84 RBIs. Juan González of the Detroit Renaissance finished second in voting, while Jesús Reyes of the Austin Rangers finished third. |
