Crawford Blanks Kingston Township Monday, September 4th, 2023 In a knockout performance, Billy Crawford beat the Legion 6-0 with an impressive 1-hit shutout. The BC hurler finished with 8 strikeouts and 1 walk. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. Crawford told reporters after the game, "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working... it don't get any better than this." The Legion manager said, "It was a rough one for my guys. We weren't at our best... and their guy was." Crawford has made 5 starts, tossed 38.2 innings, struck out 28 batters and walked 9. His record is 4-1 with a 1.16 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .176 batting average. |
