Rehab Road Tough For Republics Pedro Castro Monday, November 27th, 2023 After being examined by team doctors yesterday, Republics starting pitcher Pedro Castro was told that his rehabilitation time would be increased to 2-3 weeks because he still had some pain and soreness. The medical staff did not want to activate him until he is totally healthy. Castro is recovering from a torn biceps. Over his career the 25-year-old Castro has won 37 and lost 38, collecting 703 strikeouts and 279 walks in 665.2 innings with a 3.69 ERA. Opponents have hit .229 against him. |
