The impending free agent turned in a dominant season with the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC in 2023 and has won the Silver League Reliever of the Year Award. With his contract situation unclear for next season, it appears his dominant performance will have him poised to command big money. For the year, the 40-year-old native of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic put up a 1.62 ERA, over 44.1 innings of work. He made 43 relief appearances and had 4 saves, 63 strikeouts, 10 walks and a record of 2-0. Ilie Paunescu of the Northern Virginia Retrievers finished second in voting, while Truman Valentine of the Grafton Middies finished third. |
