Piranhas Pitching Ravaged by Márquez Saturday, September 9th, 2023 There are moments in a player's career that are etched into their memories forever. Miguel Márquez of the Boston Patriots had one of those moments when he went 5 for 5 at the plate today in the 10-0 win over the Panama City Piranhas at Piranhas Ballpark. The 25-year-old shortstop told reporters in the postgame interview, "This is a day I won't forget soon, but I'll settle to just get a hit or two every day... enough hits to hang around the league a little bit longer... like 10... 15 more years maybe." Miguel Márquez singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. This year Márquez is batting .298 with no home runs and 15 RBIs. |
