Alvarado and Bell Fight, Get Suspended Thursday, August 24th, 2023 It was a pretty intense fight, so Armando Alvarado and Mark Bell were both suspended today for 4 games for their part in a brawl which happened in a game between the Panama City Piranhas and the New Amsterdam Republics at Piranhas Ballpark. Alvarado said, "Luckily nobody was hurt. I think we both overreacted to the situation." Currently Alvarado is batting .192 with 2 home runs and 23 RBIs. In 9 starts this season Bell has chalked up a 3-4 record and a 5.62 ERA. |
