Super Week for Thunder Bay's Cook! Monday, August 14th, 2023 At the age of 27, Jonathan Cook might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Thunder Bay catcher put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .600 batting average. For his efforts Cook collected the Silver League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 9 hits in 15 at-bats, 3 home runs and 7 RBIs last week in 5 games. In 2023 Cook has hit at a .307 clip with 81 hits, 10 home runs, 36 RBIs and has scored 49 times. |
