Bailey Shuts out Athletic Club KC Saturday, September 30th, 2023 In an outstanding outing, Gary Bailey tamed Athletic Club KC on a 4-hit shutout. The Houston hurler went the distance, finishing with 4 strikeouts and 2 walks in the 5-0 win. "He had a lot of first pitch strikes and kept us off balance with a lot of off-speed stuff," according to the Athletic Club KC manager. "We just didn't get too many balls squared up today." This year Bailey has registered 8 wins and 11 losses in 22 starts with a 3.93 ERA while registering 111 strikeouts and 40 walks in 151 innings. |
