Richardson City's Ramírez Injured, Out of Lineup Sunday, September 24th, 2023 The Richardson City Thundercats were dealt a severe blow when Fernando Ramírez was hurt running the bases recently in a game against the Louisville BC. After the game, the team trainer reported Ramírez might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 21-year-old catcher out for the rest of the season with a strained medial collateral ligament. They indicated it would take Ramírez at least 6 weeks to heal. For the year Ramírez is batting .227 with 12 home runs. |
