M3L Triple A Picks Top Player Monday, August 22nd, 2022 Carlos Padilla burst onto the M3L Triple A stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie catcher for Vermont garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 21-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .545 (12-for-22) with 1 home run and 11 RBIs last week. This year Padilla has socked 91 hits in 301 at-bats for a .302 average with 5 home runs. He is getting on base at a .349 pace and his totals also include 50 RBIs and 42 runs scored. |
