Silver League Winner Announced Sunday, October 30th, 2022 Today the Silver League announced the winner of the 2022 Newcomer of the Year Award. The top-ranked rookie was the talented Detroit left fielder Juan González. The 26-year-old Renaissance newcomer took the trophy by hitting .256 in 108 games this season and finished with 103 hits, 22 home runs, 60 RBIs and 67 runs scored. David Hudson of the Vancouver Grey Wolves finished second in voting, while Scotty Anderson of the Grafton Middies finished third. |
