SL Honors New Amsterdam Right Fielder Monday, September 19th, 2022 At the age of 32, Júlio Maldonado might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The New Amsterdam right fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .407 batting average. For his efforts Maldonado collected the Silver League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 11 hits in 27 at-bats, 4 home runs and 9 RBIs last week in 6 games. This season Maldonado is hitting .264 with 101 hits, 21 home runs, 68 RBIs, scored 69 runs and played in 102 games. |
