Prieto Named Top Reliever for 3L
Saturday, October 23rd, 2021
Jesús Prieto was a calming influence out of the Kingston Township Legion bullpen this season.

His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 25-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the Third League Reliever of the Year Award for 2021.

The New York native won the award with no saves in 44 relief appearances, 56 strikeouts in 47.2 innings and a record of 4-4 to go with his 1.70 ERA.

Elvin Brooks of the Montana Pandas finished second in voting, while Jake O'Tomalty of the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC finished third.
