Piranhas Castro Takes 3L Batting Crown

He may only be 23 years old, but Melvin Castro has already established himself as an elite Menard's Third League player.
The Panama City Piranhas star posted a .336 batting average this year, which won him the Third League batting crown.
"I can't even believe it, to be honest," he told Baseball News Network.
His fantastic campaign consisted of 139 hits, 29 doubles, 3 triples and 29 home runs for the year. In 107 games Castro added 92 RBIs and scored 80 runs.
