SL Names Outstanding Hitter Award Winner Thursday, October 28th, 2021 Ramiro Salazar has been around United States Silver League enough to know a good hot streak when he sees one -- and he got to see one firsthand all year. For his standout run through the 2021 season, he's taking home the Outstanding Hitter Award in the Silver League. The Northern Virginia right fielder put up a batting average of .288 with 25 doubles, 3 triples, 25 home runs and 74 RBIs. Luis Muñóz of the Vancouver Grey Wolves finished second in voting, while David Henderson of the Athletic Club KC finished third. |
