Ft. Worth's Trevino Wins 2021 Newcomer Award Monday, October 25th, 2021 This year's outstanding newcomer has been selected and the honor goes to the Ft. Worth rookie Orlando Trevino -- the recipient of the 2021 Silver League Newcomer of the Year Award. The talented Cattlemen first baseman took the trophy by hitting .339 in 74 games this season and finished with 96 hits, 9 home runs, 49 RBIs and 46 runs scored. Vincent Hall of the Athletic Club KC finished second in voting, while Toyokazu Asano of the Ft. Worth Cattlemen finished third. |
