Red Knights Compton Tames Wizarding Friday, September 18th, 2020 Bob Compton had an impressive outing today. He hurled the Capital District Red Knights to a 6-0 shutout victory over the Wizarding Express, yielding 4 hits with 5 strikeouts and 2 walks. "He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," the Wizarding skipper said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders." In 16 starts this season Compton has notched a 5-4 record and a 4.06 ERA. |
