Free-for-All Costs Davis and Hubbard 3-Game Suspensions Tuesday, July 17th, 2018 Nobody was hurt in a confrontation yesterday between the Sharks Randolph Davis and the Hawks Kent Hubbard as both benches cleared during the fracas at Sharks Ballpark. It appeared that there were a few punches thrown before the players could be separated. Today the league commissioner took action. The league decided to punish the guilty parties. Randolph Davis and Kent Hubbard will each have to sit out 3-game suspensions for their roles in this fight. For the year Davis has hit .269 with 6 home runs, 27 RBIs and scored 33 runs. This season Hubbard has fanned 28 in 58 innings and collected a 2-6 record with a 5.74 ERA. |
