Pérez Honored, 2018 SL Outstanding Hitter Award Monday, October 15th, 2018 What a way to finish off the year -- being honored with the 2018 Outstanding Hitter Award in the Silver League. It had already been a very special season for Toledo's Enrique Pérez, but today's announcement really put the icing on his cake. All season long Enrique Pérez gave opposing pitchers fits by hitting .366 as he collected 137 hits, 20 doubles, 4 triples, 38 home runs and 92 RBIs.Chris Smith of the Atlanta Smoke finished second in voting, while Emílio Sáenz of the Athletic Club KC Athletics finished third. |
