Silver League Selects Top Rookie Friday, October 12th, 2018 It was a good season for Atlanta's Nathan Horton, capped off today by the announcement that he has been named the Silver League Newcomer of the Year Award winner. The talented second baseman hit .309 in 78 games this season, racking up 98 hits, 13 home runs, 50 RBIs and 53 runs scored.Shi-young Chang of the Northern Virginia Retrievers finished second in voting, while Chris Nelson of the Philadephia 1776 BC finished third. |
