New Amsterdam Loses Coker for 4-5 Months Tuesday, July 31st, 2018 Andy Coker will have to wait a while longer. The New Amsterdam starting pitcher was informed this afternoon that he will miss another 4-5 months with bone chips in his elbow. The injury has kept him off the field since 07/27/2018. Though Coker had hoped to return soon, he has no choice but to be patient. "Gotta stay focused," he said. "Gotta stay positive." Thus far this season, Coker has worked 60 innings with 54 strikeouts en route to a 4-6 record and a 5.25 ERA. |
