SL Rookie Hittin' on All Cylinders in June Sunday, July 1st, 2018 Shi-young Chang is a latecomer to this league. The 30-year-old Northern Virginia left fielder is putting up quality numbers, even though he's not your traditional rookie. On the heels of posting a .333 average, the Silver League named him June's Rookie of the Month. He hit 3 home runs last month, knocking in 13 runs and scoring 17 runs. He banged out 29 hits and drew 13 walks to post a .437 OBP. Thus far this year Chang is batting .283 with 6 home runs, 23 RBIs and 30 runs scored. |
