The Grafton Middies left fielder surpassed even his own expectations. "I thought I could hit .350, maybe," he said, his eyes misting over. "To go beyond that..." His voice trailed off before he continued. "It's like a dream." The Middies star made the season a nightmare for his opposition, rattling off 178 hits including 32 doubles, 1 triples and 16 home runs. He scored 72 times and collected 69 runs batted in. |
