Acosta Takes Best Bat Award in August Friday, September 1st, 2017 Arturo Acosta put together a good August to earn the League 2 AAA Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Tremont officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Doubledays right fielder posted a .409 batting average with 8 home runs, 26 RBIs and 25 runs scored. For the year Acosta has hit at a .377 clip with 79 RBIs, 21 home runs and 67 runs scored. |
