Acosta Wins 2AAA Player of the Week Trophy Monday, August 28th, 2017 At the age of 27, Arturo Acosta might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Tremont right fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .586 batting average. For his efforts Acosta collected the League 2 AAA Player of the Week Award. He racked up 17 hits in 29 at-bats, 1 home run and 5 RBIs last week in 7 games. Acosta is currently batting .379 with 21 home runs and 76 RBIs. |
