García Sensational, 5-5 Wednesday, August 16th, 2017 Rafael García told the press after his 5-hit day, "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate. He wants to hit the ball hard." Well, that's just what García of the Bagley Loons did against the Saint-Jérôme Amish. He went to the plate 5 times and 5 times he delivered base hits, much to the chagrin of the Amish, who suffered a 10-4 defeat. "Not much that I can say," offered the losing manager, "he just hammered the heck out of us." Rafael García hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 8th. Currently García is batting .328 with 113 hits and 13 home runs. He has knocked in 55 runs and scored 56 times. |
