Murdoch Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games Thursday, July 21st, 2016 Micheal Murdoch's hitting string continues. The 22-year-old Jersey City third baseman upped it to 20 games today with 1 hit in the Sun Caps 2-0 win over the Saint-Jérôme Amish at Field of the Amish. Micheal Murdoch struck out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. This season Murdoch is batting at a .359 clip with 22 home runs and 76 RBIs. |
