Bass's Strong Week Earns L3AAA Trophy Monday, August 28th, 2017 27-year-old Kyle Bass made a few Augusta headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and League 3 AAA officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 22 at-bats to put up a .545 average. Bass collected 5 home runs, 15 RBIs and scored 7 runs. Thus far this season in 82 games Bass is batting .337 with 15 home runs, 67 RBIs and 46 runs scored. He has 82 hits in 243 at-bats. |
