Hit Parade: Harden Pops 5 Hits Sunday, August 27th, 2017 No matter what the Wichita Outriders threw at him today, Harris Harden hit it. He easily handled Outriders pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Maple Leaves to a 11-4 triumph at Ballpark of Wichita. He told BNN reporters in the postgame interview, "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball." The Wichita skipper quipped, "Well, the next time we might just do that... blindfold him... and then pitch him differently, just to be sure." Harris Harden singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Roberto Valenzuela in the 4th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and walked in the 9th. For the year Harden is batting .315 with 18 home runs, 83 RBIs and 108 runs scored. |
