Hull Batters Gryfindor Big Time Friday, August 25th, 2017 If just anyone could go out and hit a baseball, big dollar contracts wouldn't exist. But they can't, so the good hitters get the big bucks. William Hull showed how it's done as he went 5 for 5 against the Gryfindor Braves and helped the Balboa Buccaneers beat them 10-9. The manager for the Braves told the BNN sportswriters, "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it. That's the game of baseball. Don't make mistakes and you win a lot more ballgames." If Hull keeps hitting like this, he could be headed for a big pay raise. William Hull walked in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Floyd Oglethorpe in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a two-run triple in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. This year Hull is hitting .278 with 9 home runs. |
