Wednesday, August 16th, 2017
During a recent Lévis-Corpus Christi game at Rocks Ballpark, Dan Holliday of the Rocks and Aurélien Godet of the Twins got into an altercation on the field and had to be separated from each other as the benches emptied. Both players knew they would have to face the music and today the league commissioner's office announced their punishments. They have been given 2-game suspensions because of their actions.
Holliday is currently batting .363 with 13 home runs and 50 RBIs.
This year Godet has a 1-3 mark in 5 starts with a 4.97 ERA. He has given up 34 hits in 29 innings, struck out 23 and issued 6 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .274 batting average against him.
