L3AAA Player of the Week Named Monday, August 14th, 2017 There's nothing like being in the prime of your baseball career -- and playing like it. Just ask José Alvia, the Hialeah left fielder, who swung a sweet bat all week to not only aid his team, but also pick up the League 3 AAA Player of the Week honors. Alvia piled up 12 hits in 24 at-bats, 5 home runs and 13 RBIs while hitting .500. So far this season Alvia is batting .369 with 29 home runs, 88 RBIs and 63 runs scored. He has 103 hits in 279 at-bats, 33 walks and a .445 OBP. Alvia has played in 78 games. |
