McKnight Sizzles with 25-Game Batting Streak Tuesday, July 11th, 2017 Nick McKnight's consecutive-game hitting streak has now climbed to 25 games. The Warwick shortstop smacked 2 hits against Augusta in today's game at Hunchbacks Ballpark to extend it, but he has mixed emotions about it. After losing to the Augusta Timber Hawks, McKnight told reporters, "I feel good about the streak, but don't feel good when we lose." Nick McKnight flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Melvin Lee in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. To date this year McKnight is batting .369 with 12 home runs. |
