Pak Claims Hit Record Saturday, September 23rd, 2017 Chang-bum Pak of the Capital District Red Knights has reached the top of the charts in baseball. He now has the most hits in a season -- a new league record. Pak put number 145 in the scorebook in a game at Capital Grounds to pass the previous recor dholder, Luis Rodríguez. Speaking to the press after his record-breaking game Pak said, "Hitting a baseball is a God-given talent. I'm just thankful He blessed me." Chang-bum Pak hit a solo-shot off Myron Johnson in the 1st, singled in the 3rd and singled in the 4th. Pak is presently batting .335 with 6 home runs, 79 runs scored and 54 RBIs. His OBP is .394. |
