Rodríguez Wins 3L Player of the Week Honors Monday, September 18th, 2017 At the age of 28, Carlos Rodríguez might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Norfolk second baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .667 batting average. For his efforts Rodríguez collected the Third League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 6 hits in 9 at-bats, no home runs and 6 RBIs last week in 2 games. So far this year Rodríguez is batting .294 with 7 home runs, 59 RBIs and 55 runs scored. |
